Hi, I'm Jennifer and have decided to write a journal of my experience with Accutane. I am a 24-year-old female who has suffered with acne for years and it just recently (last year) turned into cystic acne which is really, really bad (believe me!), but overall my skin isn't that bad. I have tried so many things for my skin. Nothing at the drugstore helped at all; neither benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid products helped at all. Proactiv was a total waste of money. The dermatologist prescribed many things, such as oral antibiotics (EryTabs and Minocycline), Avita gel, Retin-A Micro, Clindomycin, Cleocin T Gel, Differin and many others. So here I am, getting ready to begin a round of Accutane.
